Not Your Typical Easter Sunday!

What a fun Easter!
Sunday morning Dave and I woke up, packed up coffee & bagels in a to-go bag, grabbed Lola and went to the "drive-in" church at the lake. Yes, you read that correctly, "drive-in". It was quite an experience! Dave use to go to this church with his grandparents when he was little. I wasn't certain about wearing my PJs to the service, but Dave assured me it was okay. It was a weird feeling sitting in the car, eating bagels, wearing PJs & petting my dog, all while listening to a sermon!!
After church we decided to go on a boat ride. Although the weather was not ideal we still had a fun time! It was a little chili so Lola & I snuggled under a blanket. We only saw two other boats the entire two hours we were on the water!

Busy Saturday!

Dave, Lola and I had a fun filled, busy, Easter weekend. Like most weekends these days, Saturday was a day full of wedding tasks. Dave, Lola & I drove to Branson where we met with Pastor Dar for a couple of hours, then had a practice run with the hair stylist, once finished there we went and had our engagement pictures taken. Poor Dave! He was a trooper!! Although, I did think at one point his head was going to explode! He has had enough wedding stuff to last him a lifetime!! The above picture was taken in the car on our way home.

Last Weekend of Freedom!

Last weekend Dave and I celebrated our "Last weekend of Freedom" A.K.A "Bachelor and Bachelorette parties". We both had a GREAT time!

The bachelorette party was spent downtown St. Louis where we started the day by meeting at a coffee shop and girl talked for a few hours. Then, we moved on to the Bubble Tea for lunch. Once we finished lunch we went to my friend Jennifer Foster's apartment and sat on top of her roof overlooking the city and drank wine. (What a WONDERFUL apartment & view!!) We eventually checked into our hotel, got ready to hit the town and had a fantastic dinner at Eleven Eleven Mississippi. After the dinner we bar hopped.

What a lovely time! I have memories of that day that will last forever. I am truly grateful to have such wonderful friends, sister-n-law and future sister-n-law. Thank you girls!
According to Dave his weekend went extremely well too! He and several of his friends, including his brother Mark, my brother Chris and his father Paul, went to Arkansas for a fly fishing trip. Although the fish did not bite... it was still a fun time! The "Pederson" logo above was made into t-shirts and stickers and everyone at the Bachelor party was given one.
