Old Friends!

Last weekend the old high school gang got together! We had a wonderful time. Lots of laugh as usual! Thank you Lindsey for the wonderful dinner you and Ryan have a talent in hosting!

A Beautiful Sunday

Dave and I were able to stop by Forest Park this weekend and the beautiful flowers were in bloom. I had a blast taking pictures! Here are a few of the gorgeous tulips that were amazing to see in person.

A Lake Ozark Easter

Dave, Lola & I spent Easter this year at Paul & Julie's lake condo. We had a wonderful, quiet Easter. Our weekend consisted of church, grilling, boat rides & relaxing. Below are a few pictures from the weekend.

My friend Lindsey makes the BEST cupcakes! In fact, they are the best around! Lindsey started a small home business titled "Cameo Cupcakes" and word has spread quickly around Jefferson City about her tasty treats! Every time I talk to Lindsey she is making cupcakes, or just finished making cupcakes, or delivering cupcakes, or buying groceries for cupcakes! Not only is she a Mom & also a full time career woman, but she is also the cupcake queen! I am not sure where she finds the time.

As many of you know, I am currently taking a photography class. Our final assignment was to take pictures of a Hobby or Sport. I called on my friend Lindsey to see if she would allow me to observe & take pictures of her working on cupcakes. I was so happy that she said yes! I don't think many have had the opportunity to observe in her covert cupcake kitchen, but she knew she had no reason to worry about me stealing her secrete recipes. I am not much competition in the baking department!! In fact, the last time Lindsey came to dinner at my house I burned the cornbread!

Here are a few pictures I took of Lindsey hard at work. As you can see the cupcakes look great and let me tell you... they taste & smell even better!!
